Colo. State Senator (1965-1973), John Bermingham (Republican-Denver) was born in Chicago, Ill. He attended Yale (1944) before graduating from Columbia Law School (1949). Bermingham moved to Denver in 1953 and ran for the Colo. State Legislature two times before being elected in 1964, later reelected in 1968 and 1972. He was the lead sponsor for a bill with State Rep.
